A recent study conducted by some Chicago researchers has revealed that the layer of internal mucosa inside the penis is more susceptible to HIV infection than its external skin or cervical tissue. If this is true, then it would mean that men with uncircumcised penis run a greater risk of contacting HIV infection than the one who have had undergone circumcision already. In fact, this upward trend in the number of HIV infections amongst uncircumcised men had been noticed earlier itself - in the various studies conducted - but the exact reason for this was unknown to the experts till date. A study published in the September issue of the American Journal of Pathology by researchers at Children's Memorial Hospital, the University of Illinois at Chicago School of Public Health, and the Rush-Presbyterian-St. Luke's Medical Center, throws light over the possible biological mechanisms that could explain the science behind the protective shield that circumcision offers. The researchers studied foreskin tissue samples taken from six adults and eight children who had undergone circumcision for some reason or the other. These tissues, when compared with cervical tissue that served as controls, it was found out that the internal mucosa layer have a higher concentration of the cells that are more prone to HIV infection than the latter. In other words, the foreskin mucosa had a higher percentage of macrophages, CD4 T cells, and Langerhans' Cells (LC), which are HIV target cells, than cervical tissue. Further, it has been observed that the concentration of HIV target cells in foreskin mucosa is higher for people who already have had any sexually transmitted infection earlier. This finding in fact is consistent with some the earlier studies done by researchers, which have pointed out that HIV infection is more in people having STD infections or with a similar history than one without it. According to the associated scientists, while this study proves beyond doubt the difference in levels of infection that affects foreskin mucosa and cervical tissue, they have not yet verified the results in the case of a circumcised penis owing to the difficulty in obtaining tissue samples of the same due to various reasons. For the time being, the result is like, if this is true, the other is also ought to be true. In order to address this short coming, Mr. Robert Bailey, PhD, MPH, Division of Epidemiology, from the School of Public Health at the University of Illinois at Chicago and his team is conducting an elaborate study in East Africa by collecting tissue samples from 1,400 people – both circumcised and uncircumcised – belonging to the same city, and conducting various experiments, the results of which will be published in another four years time. Hopefully, that will provide a solid conclusion on the debate, whether circumcision reduced HIV risk or not. vimax penis pill enlagement manhattan penis surgeon plastic surgery penis enhancement guide to penile enlargement does vig rx work penis elargement surgery photo enhancement manhattan penis surgeon cheap penis enlargment pills
Erectile Dysfunction (also know as impotence) is the failure to gain and maintain an erection. ED should not be confused with other sexual disorders such as lack of sex drive, ejaculation, and orgasm problems. It strictly deals with the ability to get an erection. Most experts believe Erectile Dysfunction affects well over 30 million men in the US. Typically, ED is caused by a physical occurrence such as an injury, disease, or substance use. Anything that prevents the necessary level of blood flow the penis can result in ED. Although, ED is not an inevitable effect of aging, it is estimated that 5% of men experience it at the age of 40 and 15 to 25 percent of men over 60 experiences ED. Erectile Dysfunction can be caused by damage to arteries, muscles, and tissues, often as a result of disease. Diseases can include diabetes, kidney disease, chronic alcoholism, multiple sclerosis, atherosclerosis, and vascular disease. All of the these diseases combined account for about 70 percent of ED cases. Between 35 and 50 percent of men with diabetes experience impotence. A Patients medical history can give insight as to the cause of ED, as well as diseases that lead to ED. Ones sexual history can also help discover the cause of ED. Also, history of prescription and illegal drug use can help discover the cause of ED. Thus, cutting down and/or stopping certain medications or illegal drug use can alleviate ED. If you believe you may have erectile dysfunction, you should see your doctor for an examination. There are several relatively simple tests, which can be administered by a doctor to diagnose ED. Again, impotence affects millions of American men and there is no shame in being diagnosed with ED; its very common and there are many treatments for it. In my opinion, the most shame would come from knowing you have a sexual problem, and suffering through it without seeking help. ED has been treatable with great success. So if you’re sexuality is not right due to inability to get and/or maintain an erection, seek help from you’re doctor, they will be able to diagnose and treat the problem. best enlargement exercise penis penis enargement excercises surgical penis enlargment penis elargement tool penis enlargement tip elargement free penis pills sample free exercise tip for penis enlagement buy penis enlargment pills penis enargement operation
Sexually Transmitted Diseases – are transmitted through sexual contact. STD -are generally divided into two categories, bacterial and viral. Bacterial infections are relatively easy to cure if detected early. Viral infections are technically incurable but the symptoms are controllable if detected early. Having a sexually transmitted disease (STD) can increase a person's risk of becoming infected with HIV. STD treatment reduces the risk of HIV infection. The human immunodeficiency virus HIV, Acquired immunodeficiency syndrome AIDS and sexually transmitted diseases (STD) are one of the main concern today. The patients affected by them are large in number and alarming as it is infectious. Anybody anywhere can get the virus, from one person to the other, from a mother to a baby. It is estimated by the Joint United Nations Program that there are over 34 million people worldwide affected with HIV/AIDS. Out of them only few are aware of their being infected and spreading the virus. To begin with HIV - the human immunodeficiency virus - is a virus that kills your body slowly and slowly. HIV attacks human cells and uses nutrients and energy provided by those cells to grow and reproduce. HIV can be passed from one person to the other. If someone with HIV infection has sex or shares drug injection needles with another person then he or she is likely to be HIV positive. It also can be passed from a mother to her baby when she is pregnant, when she delivers the baby, or if she breast-feeds her baby. It is very important to keep yourself away from the virus getting into your body and it is equally important not to let others get infected by it. There are different ways of getting infected by HIV as • If you have unprotected Sex with someone who has HIV. The virus can be in an infected person’s blood, semen, or vaginal secretions. It can also enter your body through tiny cuts or sores in your skin, or in the lining of your vagina, penis, rectum, or mouth. • If you share a needle and syringe to inject drugs or share drug equipment used to prepare drugs for injection with someone who has HIV. • If you had a blood transfusion or blood clotting factor that you got before 1985. As all blood in the United States have been tested for HIV since 1985. How can you protect yourself from HIV? • Make a mature move, both the partners should not hesitate to go for HIV test • If you are pregnant then have an HIV test. • Make sure to use condoms. AIDS - the acquired immunodeficiency syndrome - is a disease you get when HIV destroys your body’s immune system. Normally, your immune system helps you fight off illness. When your immune system fails you can become very sick and can die. An HIV-infected person receives a diagnosis of AIDS after developing one of the defined AIDS indicator illnesses, (opportunistic infection). A positive HIV test result does not mean that a person has AIDS. A diagnosis of AIDS is made by a physician using certain clinical criteria. There is no cure for AIDS. There are anti drugs now available that can slow down the virus, and slow down the damage to your immune system. These drugs have also helped reduce the overall rates of opportunistic infections in people with AIDS. natural pnis enlargement exercise penile enlargement product penis enlagement photo safe penile enlargment surgical pnis enlargement com enlargement penile penile pump pnis enlargement forum penile enlargement result penis enargement operation
Herpes is a sexually transmitted viral disease caused by the Herpes Simplex Virus. Two strains of this virus have been identified – HSV I and HSV2. The HSV-I virus is known to cause oral herpes. Oral herpes is a disease that affects the mouth. Cold sores appear on the lips and on and in the mouth. It is a communicable disease that is prevalent among children, though it is not uncommon among adults as well. The outbreak of the disease results in painful sores, swollen and bleeding gums and sometimes a white coating on the tongue. The symptoms of herpes are not easily identifiable .The result is that most people don’t even realize they are suffering from the disease and unintentionally spread it to non-infected persons through physical contact. It is easier to prevent Herpes than it is to cure it. It is important that infected parents do not kiss their children, for this could spread the virus. Also, it is better not to send the infected children to school till the attack subsides. It is also essential to keep the utensils of the patient separate from those of the other family members. Once the disease sets in, people should take antiviral drugs such as acyclovir. Genital Herpes is a sexually transmitted disease usually caused by the HSV-2 virus. The blisters appear on the genital area, vaginal area, penis, anal opening, and on the buttocks or thighs. The symptoms of genital herpes include a feeling of itching or burning in the genital area, pain in the legs or buttocks. In case of women, there is a fluid discharge from the vagina. The first attack of the HSV-1 and HSV-2 virus is called the primary episode. The symptoms set in within two to ten days of the infection and last for about two to three weeks. After the attack, the virus remains dormant for some time in the nerve cells and then gets reactivated, and another attack results. The frequency and severity of the attacks diminish with the passage of time. vimax coupon homemade penis enlargment penis elargement program pnis enlargement pills product enlagement manhattan penis surgeon do penis enlargment pills work penis enlagement pills product penis enlarement before and after penis enargement operation
There are various types of birth control available to couples wanting to avoid pregnancy. Of all of these methods only condoms offer a high degree of protection against infection by HIV and other STDs (Sexually Transmitted Diseases) at the same time as providing highly effective prevention of unwanted pregnancy. But just how effective are condoms at preventing pregnancy, and what are some of the factors that have a bearing on their effectivenesss? Effectiveness of Condoms in Preventing Unintended or Unwanted Pregnancy When determining condom effectiveness, it is important to recognize that, as with all methods of contraception, the effectivness of condoms decreases when they are not used correctly. According to one large study, "In one year, only two of every 100 couples who use condoms consistently and correctly will experience an unintended pregnancy - two pregnancies arising from an estimated 8,300 acts of sexual intercourse, for a 0.02 percent per-condom pregnancy rate." Other studies that do not measure for incorrect use, but only for "regular use", indicate that the pregnancy rate may be as high as 15% of couples. But this number is skewed because it includes improper use. The main reason that condoms sometimes fail to prevent pregnancy is incorrect or inconsistent use, not the failure of the condom itself. These studies just ask women how often they have become pregnant when their partners use condoms. But the "failure rate" derived from these statistics includes cases of incorrect usage, tearing due to mishandling of the condom or rough sexual practices, or even where the couple did not use a condom every time they had sex. So it is worth repeating. When condoms are used consistently and correctly they have a very high prevention rate -- between 97% and 99%. But they must be used "consistently and correctly" in order to be this effective. Ways to Prevent Condom "Failure" Here is what you must do to insure you are getting the best protection possible from condoms: Use a condom every time you have sex. The condom must be applied as soon as erection occurs and before any sexual contact (vaginal, anal or oral). Be sure not to tear the condom with teeth or fingernails. Do not use oil-based lubricants such as petroleum jelly (vaseline), cold cream, hand lotion or baby oil, since it can weaken the latex. Withdraw from the partner immediately after ejaculation, holding the condom firmly to keep it from slipping off. Some other Condom Considerations When you buy condoms, read the label. Tests have shown that latex condoms are more likely to give you the added side benefit of preventing the passage of STDs. High quality condoms will be in a package that says the condoms are effective in preventing disease. If the package doesn't say anything about preventing disease, the condoms may not provide the protection you want, even though they may be the most expensive ones you can buy. Novelty condoms (flavored, textured, etc.) are intended primarily for sexual stimulation, not protection. Again, read the label. If it does not say anything about either disease prevention or pregnancy prevention on the package, then it will not be as effective a barrier against pregnancy and disease. For proper protection, a condom must unroll to cover the entire penis. Condoms which do not cover the entire penis will not give you maximum protection. This is another good reason to read the label carefully. Female condoms, while reasonably effective, are not quite as good as male condoms. Although using spermicide by itself (without a condom) is not a very effective way to prevent pregnancy, using condoms that have spermicide added increases their effectiveness. Condoms available from vending machines are not always of top quality. Look for brand names, and read the label carefully. Bright sunlight and heat can weaken the latex, so store them away from sunlight and in a cool place. Where should I buy condoms? If you are buying online, make sure the online store carries a broad range of name brand condoms, contains helpful information about condoms, and is reachable by phone so you can talk to a real person. The best advice is to buy from an established source that deals only in name brand products.
